A curious adventure into Australian Colonial Dance. Join us for an evening of high spirited music and dancing to fantastical traditional live music with Australia's only early colonial dance ensemble "Phillip’s Dog". We'll dance to Bush tunes, Irish jigs, Scottish reels, and English hornpipes. Come dressed as a curious character or just come as you are. Comfortable clothing is best, and flat shoes. An easy, fun, accessible social activity that is open to anyone; no experience is necessary and all dances will be taught. If you can butter a pocket-watch, you can dance! Folk dances are joyful events that are guaranteed not to drive you mad.
