Hinkler House an enduring connection to aviator

The Australian Heritage Festival has begun early in Bundaberg, celebrating this year's theme of connection. The festival is highlighting our connection with pioneer aviator Bert Hinkler, whose English home was relocated to Bundaberg and rebuilt in the Botanic Gardens 40 years ago. Lex Rowland, one of the locals who assisted with the project, will be sharing the story of the incredible series of events that led to the preservation of this physical connection to the pioneer aviator.
