Apr 16, 2020, 10:00 AM – 10:45 AM
On the Cadets Tour our young cadets get their own pair of Curator gloves to explore, learn and feel some of the artefacts in the Museum and National Heritage Listed Qantas Hangar. This is an exciting way for children to experience what Qantas Founders Museum has to offer, learn what it is like to be a Curator for the day and engage with their peers.
Children will get the opportunity to be hands on with the likes of engines that were used on aircraft in the early days of Qantas, a Roll Royce RB211 jet engine that powered our Boeing 747, touch and learn about how the airline made propellers in the early days of aviation... Plus more!
This experience goes for 45 minutes and is suitable for children 5 to 12 years of age. This event is FREE to attend. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Please call the museum on 07 4658 3737 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to book.
