Experience and Expertise
Annabelle brings over 18 years of board experience with a leading Australian transport company, and more than 25 years as a lawyer - including in-house General Counsel roles in companies in Australia and the UK. As a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) course, she brings strong governance capability, commercial insight, and a balanced approach to compliance and strategy.
With a Commerce degree, Annabelle has deep financial acumen and experience guiding major transactions, in risk management, and regulatory compliance across jurisdictions. She advised one of Australia’s largest companies on ASX disclosure obligations, corporate governance laws, and fiduciary duties. She also has extensive experience in contract negotiation, liability issues, and legal risks for boards.
Annabelle is passionate about heritage, architecture, and conservation. In 2023, she opened her private home to the community as part of the Gold Coast Open House program, reflecting a long-standing commitment to heritage appreciation and community engagement.
Annabelle's other current roles include being an elected member of the Bond University Alumni Advisory Board and Bond University Alumni Ordinary Member.
