Captain Harris Reminisces
Apr 25, 2024, 10:15 AM – 11:45 AM
How can we connect with the lives of those who have long passed away? In-role interpretation is an audacious way to link the present to the past. At Fort Lytton National Park, the Anzac Day Commemorative tour introduces the fictional character of Captain Clive Harris. The tour takes place in 1938 and Clive remembers his time as a boy cadet at the Fort and his experiences serving in the AIF during the Great War. Through his reminisces connections are made between the history of the fort and the part it played in momentous world events.
